I can't believe that Rylynn is one month old. It seems like we just brought her home from the hospital. Time sure is flying.

| March 7, 2014 - One month old. |
Here are a few tidbits/highlights of the past month.
Two week follow up appointment stats:
Weight: 7 lb 3 oz (14%)
Length: 20.7 inches (67%)
Head: 35.5 cm (51%)
When we brought Rylynn home, we got an app called Baby Connect to help us keep track of when she last ate and her diapers. That app also calculates various things. For instance, we have changed 176 diapers (I won't tell you how many were wet and how many were more than wet) and have fed her 231 bottles for a total of 3.9 gallons of formula (she is drinking 3 oz of formula every 2 1/2-3 hours).

Rylynn has yet to figure out that night time is for sleeping. She's usually awake from 9 pm to 12:00 or 1 am, then she'll sleep. What am I doing during that time? Holding her so she won't fuss, reading, watching TV.

We're also learning the art of swaddling. We got some swaddling blankets from a friend, and they have been a life saver. I'm not that great at it yet, but Ryan is a pro. We've found that Rylynn does sleep better if she's swaddled. She usually finds a way to get her arms out and her hands by her head.

All swaddled up and taking a nap. One of the few times
she doesn't have her arms out and up by her head. |
All in all, it's been a crazy, tiring, wonderful month. We can't wait to see what the next month will bring. I'm hoping for more sleep :)

Baby looks so adorable in her zebra striped jammies. Can't believe it's been a month already.
No doubt about it - she's a keeper!
