Baby Shower

I had my baby shower back on Nov. 13th. It's taken me this long to get the photos off of my camera so I could post them. Here's a snapshot of everything that happened.

30 Weeks Down.. 10 More to Go

I've been asked to provide pictures of me being pregnant. I've resisted, but decided the other day that it was time. They aren't that great, as they were taken with Ryan's iPhone, but I think it shows how I'm looking.

So, we had our ultrasound today and we're having a girl! We're so excited.

Everything is looking good.

What The...

Ok- I'm not sure what happened to my last post, but I'll repost.

For those who are not in the know (I believe we've talked to everyone now), we're expecting our first child in January. We are very excited. Everything is going great.

I do have an ultrasound picture, but I have to get it scanned first, so I'll try and get that done soon.

Update

Ryan and I went to our first appointment with the Maternal Fetal specialist on Tuesday. The Doctor told us that I was only measuring at 6 weeks instead of 10. So, I was either 4 weeks off on my dates or I was in the beginning stages of a miscarriage. Well, since I was sure on my dates (I kept very good track of that) we knew it was miscarriage. 36-ish hours later, I miscarried.

Though we are sad that this happened, we know that this was what was supposed to happen. We know that someday, we will be able to have children of our own.

We want to thank everyone for their love and support.

Now that the cat is out of the bag.....

I'm excited to announce that Ryan and I will be expecting our first child on February 4, 2010 (which just happens to be Ryan's half birthday). I've been doing well. I haven't had much by way of morning sickness, but I get tired pretty easy.

Anyway, that's about it for my first post. I'll post more later.
