Here are more pictures from our trip to Disneyland
Disneyland was all dressed up for fall and Halloween. Lots of fun. This was on the ride on the tram from the parking structure to the park.
All the girls had breakfast at Ariel's Grato with Ariel and 4 other princesses. We had Ariel, Minnie, Snow White, Cinderella and Belle.
All the girls with Ariel. Yeah.... Rylynn wasn't very happy.
Minnie walking into the dining room.
Cinderella's Entrance
At California Adventure, there's A Bug's Land. Rylynn loved that area.
Rylynn on "Flick's Flyers". You sit in Chinese take out
containers and it goes around.
There's also Heimlich's Chew Chew that she really liked. I couldn't get a picture of her on that one.
They had a splash pad right in the middle of A Bugs Land. Yeah, she loved it.
The last night there, we left Rylynn with Debbie at the house and we went and did a ride or two and explored Downtown Disney which included the Lego store.
Ryan and the Hulk made entirely of Legos.
The Genie, Aladdin and Jasmine on the flying carpet
(again, made entirely of Legos)
All in all, it was a fun trip. Lots of fun spending time with family and giving Rylynn time to get to know her cousins and Ryan's mom better.
We went with Ryan's family for a week long trip to Anaheim, CA. Four of those days were spent in Disneyland. Here are some pictures from that trip.
Rylynn loved the pool. She was a fish out of water. Anaheim was having a heat wave while we were there. Over 100 degree temps with 40+% humidity.
Rylynn had a lot of fun playing with her cousins
Waiting for the tram from the parking terrace to the park.
Waiting to go on "It's A Small World". The first ride we took her on.
Rylynn liked the ride, at first. After a while, she was done.
I took this video just before she decided she was done.
Sitting at Donald's Boat in Toon Town. I think Ryan's face
shows just how hot it was.
A couple of nights, Ryan's mom stayed at the house we rented for the week while Rylynn was asleep so we could go back to the park and go on rides until the park closed.
Ryan and I waiting to go on Star Tours. That ride has changed a TON since we went to Disney when I was 15.
The Disney Light Parade. It was really cool to see.
We had pictures done today. They were mainly of Rylynn, but we got a few of us as a family. We could not get her to do a "normal" smile. In every picture (except the one's with Ryan below) she just would not give us her cute toothy smile.
We got lucky with this one. She just had to show us how smart she is and let us know that she's one.
In May, Ryan and I went to Boston for Classical Singer's annual convention. On the night we arrived, we went as a company to a pizza place for dinner. While waiting for everyone to arrive, we found ourselves just across the street from a pier, so we went and took a look. This was us looking at the pier just as the sun was going down. Very pretty.
At a pier in Boston.
After the convention, we spent a week in Boston on vacation. The first day, after the convention, we went to Fenway Park to see the Red Sox's vs Phillies game. We went with some of my co-workers. It was a fun night. Sox won!
Ryan and I at Fenway Park.
The rest are just pictures of things we did or saw.
For the first time in a long time, I had Memorial Day off. I'm usually working at Classical Singer's convention, but this year, I didn't have to go. So, I actually got to relax this weekend.
On Memorial Day, we went and put flowers on Ashlynn's grave. It was very crowded. I don't remember it being as crowded last year (but I think we went in the evening, which may be why). We had to park across the street just so we could be sure to get out. We're quite happy that the grass has completely grown around the headstone now.

That night, Mallory, Justin, Ryan and I went to Grandma's for dinner. We ate at Robintinos (yummy food) then went back to her house for cookies and ice cream and visited with Grandma and Kelly for a while. Sorry, I forgot to take pictures.
I am a bad blogger. So, in order to get back into it again, I'll give a very quick update to what we've been doing for the past 10 months. This will be fairly short :)
After four months of "unemployment", I went back to Classical Singer in February. I work part time in the afternoons and I'm loving it. I don't have all of the responsibilities I had in the past, which is fine by me. I did go to Los Angeles for our convention, and I had a great time.
I am a primary teacher, and I'm loving it. I teach the CTR 5B class (5-6 year old). I team teach with another gal in our ward and I'm having a lot of fun. I'm also on the Relief Society meeting committee. I really enjoy working with the women that I do.
Ryan is still employed at Alianza. He was called to be the Ward Executive Secretary in February. His new calling has kept him pretty busy.
We also acquired a new kitty, Padme. She is our little dare devil. She's done more climbing, jumping, crazy kitten stuff that Starbuck never did. For instance, this picture of her is of her on top of our treadmill. Though I struggled with the idea of getting another kitty, I couldn't imagine our lives without her. I also think it's done Starbuck a lot of good. She's helped him be a little more social.
Well, that's us. We're not that exciting. I am going to do better in keeping this up-to-date with our happenings.
